Kazan Soda Ash Mine Expansion Project in Turkey
The Kazan Soda Ash Mine Expansion Project, following the ETI Project in Turkey, involves the expansion of the existing processing plant within the original Kazan Soda Ash facility. The project includes the addition of new production lines for sodium carbonate decahydrate (Na₂CO₃·10H₂O) and caustic soda evaporation, along with supporting infrastructure such as substations, distribution substations, cooling towers, and related utility systems.
Since its launch in the second half of 2021, the project team has strictly adhered to timelines and quality standards, demonstrating resilience in overcoming various challenges. Despite logistical and operational difficulties, the team effectively coordinated with construction subcontractors to complete the project to high specifications, ensuring successful first-time feedstock commissioning.

The smooth commissioning of this project represents a major milestone in optimizing production processes at the Kazan natural soda ash plant. It addresses the previous issue of insufficient brine feedstock capacity and provides a reliable solution for maintenance without production interruptions.
